Streemio Technologies is a Ghanaian software start-up, developing mobile software and services for high-growth mobile telephony markets. The team is currently developing a music streaming service for mobile subscribers in selected countries across Africa, starting in Ghana. Streemio was founded in January 2010 by Samuel Owusu Darko and Francis Mawuli Ahose and recently received seed funding from Meltwater Foundation. He has experience leading software project teams, having previously been an Entrepreneur-in-Training for two years at MEST. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. Samuel loves political debate, travel, music (even in his sleep) and is a fan of Arsenal FC. Samuel is passionate about community service and is an active member of Rotaract, currently serving as President of Rotaract Club of Adentan. Francis Mawuli AhoseTechnical Director, Co-FounderAs Technical Director, Francis is responsible for product strategy, technology selection, product roadmap and release scheduling, as well as, coordinating software engineering and quality assurance processes. Francis is passionate about technology and mobile gadgets and was involved with a number of software projects that aimed to revolutionize mobile phone usage and web advertising while at MEST.
